Raafat Kassem and Maya Najem are moving up in the world, figuratively and literally.
The young Calgary couple, who currently live in a two-bedroom condo in Shaganappi, have purchased a two-bedroom, two-bathroom townhome further uphill in Aspen Spring, a new multi-family development by Slokker Homes.

Their apartment is spacious and in a convenient location, but Kassem has long admired Aspen Woods on the city’s west side, waiting for an affordable opportunity to move up there. The couple was also keen to build and design a new home from scratch.
