RWMC finalises cleanliness plan for Eidul Azha July 17, 2021 Rawalpindi : Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) finalised cleanliness plan for Eidul Azha on the directions of Government of Punjab, says a press release. Briefing the meeting chaired by Chairman RWMC Colonel (r) Ajmal Sabir Raja, Senior Manager Operations Muhammad Hasnain said that 3,539 sanitary workers will be on duty from one day before Eid to the third day of the Eid, as leaves of all workers are cancelled. As many 3,225 in Rawalpindi and Murree, whereas 314 workers will be deployed in Taxila, Kahuta, Kalar Syedan and Gujar Khan. The Eid plan will collectively use 413 vehicles out of which 348 in Murree and Rawalpindi and 65 in other tehsils to lift waste of sacrificial animals. There will be 16 permanent and 37 mobile stations installed in the city and tehsils. Only Rawalpindi city will have 12 permanent and 26 mobile transfer stations at various points where loaders and dumpers will also be present.
