The Panthers, who are off to a 1-4 start with a win over Taylorville, have a starting group that includes four sophomore and a freshman.
“As a young team, these guys are really putting in the work to get better each day,” JCHS coach Chris Skinner said. “They are very coachable and want to learn about the game. Right now, we’re focusing on the importance of being consistent and picking up spares to increase their scores, they tend to get their share of strikes on a regular basis but we just have too many open frames right now.
