Among the things that amazed me is to look out into the crowd, and the people have been here for hours and hours and hours. This is a long program. It has gotten chilly. The pope has stayed. I dont see anyone, few people leaving. Nobody is moving. They are not going to leave until the pope leaves, because they want every minute they can with him. They are not leaving. People have come from south america and walked across the country. Theres no way anyone is going to move until the pope leaves. And in the city of philadelphia, tenses of thousands fathered. The programme is a couple of hours long, maybe longer. Its been a long day for many. They started on the trains in philadelphia.
