Quincy police ask for public s help after hit-and-run

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of an SUV who allegedly fled the scene after striking a pedestrian.

Police said the initial investigation indicates that a mid-size dark colored SUV struck a pedestrian attempting to cross the road in a crosswalk and fled the area after the crash.
