SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. A local 10-year-old spent his birthday doing something good for his community.
Quincy Laufenberg decided to host a lemonade stand, bake sale and bracelet sale in Sun Prairie to raise money for Hope for Helmets.
“I was in a bike accident last year, and my helmet saved my life, so we put this thing together called for Hope for Helmets,” Laufenberg said. “We are using the donation to go toward places that we can buy helmets for, so we can give them to people in need of helmets.”
Laufenberg said it was a great way to get outside and spend his birthday. He told us it was a big success.
