Karachi Kings newly-appointed coach Herschelle Gibbs is very impressed by the local talent in the franchise,
The former South African batsman believes his squad has the depth required to defend the Pakistan Super League (PSL) title in the upcoming edition scheduled to begin in Karachi from February 20.
Gibbs said that while he had no issues with foreign players, it was great to see promising local youngsters who are part of the team.
“Obviously the last couple of days were important as I had to look at the local players. I know overseas players and I had no concerns about them as I have been following them playing at various levels,” he said.

Australian TV host cum model Erin Holland on Wednesday expressed her disappointment for not being involved in the commentary and presenters panel in the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) scheduled to begin from February 20.
“Very disappointed not to be involved this year,” the 31-year-old wrote on Twitter in response to PSL’s official account announcing the panel.
“I wish everyone all the best for what’s sure to be a huge tournament again - thanks for all the support, and hope to see everyone again next year xx,” Erin added.
20% Spectators to be allowed in Stadiums for PSL 2021 group matches

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Sixth Edition of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 will go underway on February 20 with 20% Spectators allowed to witness the group matches in the Stadiums, as per the decision taken on Thursday.
In the morning session of the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) held in Islamabad, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Officials also participated for finalizing the participants for PSL 2021 matches.
After detailed deliberations with Health Officials, it was decided with strict guidelines already issued that 20% of Spectators will be allowed in Stadiums for the group matches.
