That, and now there s an open criminal investigation of those texts. you have to wonder exactly what s going on there. and the backing down, renato, do you see investigators say they don t want to look at the facts? it s fine to get the facts and say, maybe there was a tech mistake. and drop it. are you aware of any good reason they would say they don t want to info? no, and that s why.com look, i appreciate the fact that congress is trying to get to the bottom of this. that s the question congress is asking. that s why there s some oversight occurring. but i do think the justice department needs to accept in. they can move this a lot faster than congress can. then you have the open probe in georgia where there has been more and more signs of real action. they want to get testimony from lindsey graham, whether he was involve in the just normal oversight or something wrong in term of trying to stage a coup. he s trying to avoid testifying before this grand jury, saying
Wasn t just potentially deleted texts or inadvertent by the department of homeland security or another agency with missing texts from key trump officials missing from january 6th. i think the time has come for the justice department to have its own investigation into this matter and this is, i think, a great subject for a potential criminal referral from congress, even before the january 6th committee investigation is over. and the watchdogs? i think that, you know, that is something that really the justice department should take a look at. there s that old saying, who watches the watchers? ancient roman history. we don t want to necessarily have a situation and set a precedent that congress is going to force out every but there s a concern here because those texts were something that and take steps to follow
