An Orange County woman accused of taking a person with disabilities to a facility that investigators said didn’t have a proper license has been arrested, according to Apopka police.
Deborah Benita Hodge, 57, is accused of kidnapping a former patient after her facility was shut down when the abducted woman s sister died in her care.
Staff at the center told police that a woman had entered, retrieved another woman with severe disabilities, and then drove off with the disabled woman in an SUV, a warrant shows.
