A flighty feline has been returned to its owner after spending almost two weeks in the ceiling of a New York airport.
The kitty in question, who is named Muji, was travelling from New York to Orange County, California when she made a break for it at airport security while going through LaGuardia Airport security.
Her owner, Pastry Chef Taylor Le, was in the process of moving from Brooklyn to Orange County on Christmas eve when she was stopped by TSA agents and asked to take Muji out of her carry case to walk through a metal detector.

The cat ended up climbing some platforms leading to a ceiling enclosure and hid.
Le wrote about Mujiâs disappearance on Facebook, which gained the attention of Queens Lost & Found Pets along with pet flying advocacy group Where Is Jack? Inc., who arranged for a tracking dog to help Le find Muji at the airport.
Abby the golden retriever was able to sniff out Muji, who was still stuck in the ceiling. Upon learning this, Le caught a flight back to the Big Apple.

Jan. 8 (UPI) A cat that escaped from her owner at a security checkpoint in New York s LaGuardia Airport was returned to the distraught traveler after spending 11 days hiding in the hub s ceiling.
Taylor Le said she was in the process of moving from New York to Orange County, Calif., when she booked a Christmas Eve flight for herself and her 6-year-old cat, Muji.
