Permanent Secretary for Health Doctor James Fong has confirmed this evening that there are 11 new positive COVID-19 cases.
Ten of the new cases are from one household in Kinoya linked to the Extra Supermarket cluster.
He says the eleventh case is a work contact of case 206 from the Samabula cluster, who works for FICAC.
Ten cases were announced earlier today.
Doctor Fong says contact tracing investigations are ongoing and the public should expect to see the Ministry teams on the ground conducting these investigations throughout Suva.

There are 10 new cases of COVID-19 with three infections at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua and one being a Navy officer who is not linked to any of the existing cases as yet.
Nine are contacts of earlier announced cases and were identified through ongoing contact tracing and screening investigations.
Apart from QEB, there are three more persons positive from Muanikoso, Nasinu, which is becoming an area of major concern. The others include one each from Tacirua, Kinoya and Navosai, Narere.

Health Permanent Secretary, Doctor James Fong, says the member of Fiji Navy is from Tacirua and presented to the Nuffield Health Centre in Tamavua with symptoms.

SUVA, May 25 (Xinhua) Fiji reported 21 more COVID-19 cases on Tuesday night, bringing the total tally to 259 in the Pacific island nation. According to the Fijian Health Ministry, nine new cases are contacts of previously confirmed cases that were identified through ongoing contact tracing and screening investigations, among which, three are from the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in the capital city of Suva. Fiji Military Forces Commander Viliame Naupoto has confirmed the cases, saying that the Queen Elizabeth Barracks is under a total lockdown and they need at least 48 hours to decontaminate the whole area before re-opening the army base.

Fijian health authorities recorded 11 more Covid-19 cases late last night to bring the daily total on Tuesday to 21.
A statement released by the government s Department of Information (DINFO) quotes Health Permanent Secretary James Fong as saying another 12 patients had recovered.
10 cases had been announced earlier on Tuesday afternoon and which included three detected at the country s military headquarters at Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua, outside Suva, forcing the shut down of the camp.
The total number of Fijians currently in isolation facilities is 108. Ten of the new cases are from one household in Kinoya linked to the Extra Supermarket cluster. The eleventh case is a work contact of case 206 from the Samabula cluster, who works for the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC).
