When Elisabeth Rioux was a teenager, she was faced with a choice: to finish the last two weeks of her CEGEP program or to drop out and dive headfirst into a business she didn’t know would succeed. She chose the latter.
Now 23, Rioux, who grew up in the Laurentians, heads an empire of swimwear, loungewear and underwear by the name of Hoaka that brought in more than US$900,000 in December 2020 alone.
