Quarantine order lifted for inoculated Ohioans | News, Sports, Jobs

Those who have finished the COVID-19 vaccination process in Ohio no longer have to quarantine for two weeks if they are exposed to someone with the virus. Gov. Mike DeWine made the announcement Tuesday, saying “the power of the vaccine allows us to do this.” The state has been following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines that call for anyone who had close contact with someone with COVID-19 to stay home for 14 days after their last exposure to that person. “By changing our health order, students 16 and 17 years old who are vaccinated will be able to participate in sports and other activities, even when they have been exposed to someone with COVID,” DeWine said.
