New York | James and Kathryn Murdochâs non-profit foundation is part of a consortium of investors that has committed $US250 million ($335 million) to a climate finance fund being raised by BlackRock that will target emerging markets.
The 10-member group participating in the fundraising includes institutional investors, governments and a philanthropic vehicle run by Jeremy Grantham, the veteran stockpicker.

Reporters and scientists have a lot in common, including their relentless commitment to uncovering facts through methodical observation and questioning. At the same time, the two groups can sometimes find themselves with different priorities and perspectives.
Journalists often work on same-day deadlines writing stories intended for broad audiences. When they reach out to interview a scientist, however, they may find that their anticipated source is hesitant to speak, sometimes out of fear of being misquoted, or might offer a response too jargon-laced to use – if they’re even available on such short notice.
Comments Off on U.S. Antisemitic Incidents Remained At Historic High in 2020
Incidents targeting Jews in Colorado reached second-highest level in the last 10 years, according to annual ADL report
Denver, CO, April 27, 2021 … Antisemitic incidents remained at a historically high level across the United States in 2020, with a total of 2,024 incidents of assault, harassment and vandalism reported to ADL (the Anti-Defamation League). While antisemitic incidents declined by 4 percent nationwide after hitting an all-time high in 2019, last year was still the third-highest year for incidents against American Jews since ADL started tracking such data in 1979.
ADL’s annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents, released today, showed little change in Colorado compared to 2019. There were 60 reported incidents in 2020 compared to 61 in 2019. 2019 and 2020 had the two highest levels of antisemitic incidents in the past 10 years in Colorado.
