Coco Chanel is Our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday
Kaitlin from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn t able to come into the studio yesterday morning due to COVID-19, but we talked on the phone about Coco Chanel!
Coco Chanel is a fun-loving girl who enjoys playing in our dog park and going for walks! This lady is friendly, fun, easy on a leash, loves people, treats, and gives great hugs! Her perfect ears are SO bouncy when she runs, it looks like she s trying to take flight! Coco can be a bit wary of new people at first, so we recommend she go to a home with older respectful children, but once she gets to know you, she s a lover! Coco has lived with other dogs successfully in our kennels, so she may even enjoy a new dog friend in her furever home!
Hollywood is a transfer pup who traveled all the way from Ohio to find himself the perfect home! Hollywood had a rough start to life and was originally rescued from a dogfighting ring, but he hasn't let that keep him down!
Sassy, is a sweet senior lady at 15. Her foster mom says “Sassy is the cuddliest cat I’ve ever fostered. She loves being petted all over, including belly rubs. She will start to purr as soon as I say her name or walk towards her!

Much like the friendly ghost, this six-year-old boy can be a bit timid at first, but will warm up with a slow intro and gentle approach. Casper is a gentle soul who appreciates a calm, quiet setting. He feels most confident around other social cats, and would love to have a feline friend or two in his new home! He enjoys spending time in his cat tree, watching birds, and Cat TV. Casper loves the occasional ear and chin scratch, and once you earn his trust, he will begin to melt right into your hand for more!

Megan from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn t able to come into the studio this morning due, of course, to the COVID-19, but talked on the phone with me about Mango!
This handsome, long-haired boy is such a fun, goofy cat, and SO full of purrsonality! Mango is talkative, adventurous, loves to wander and play, play, play. He s actually so confident and curious, that he even likes to get out of his kennel and explore our lobby when we have a slow day at the shelter! Mango is a pretty independent cat, so we think he would make the perfect office or shop companion as he loves his freedom and having room to roam!
