Brisbane Times reported Ms Camm failed to disclose shareholding in her husband Brendan Webb s consultancy business. Australian Securities and Investments Commission records state Ms Camm is a shareholder of the company Strategic Direction Performance. It has come to my attention that a company and trust which I have an interest was not declared on my register of interest, she said in a statement. I wasn t aware of this, I should have been and I apologise. These entities have not transacted since 2019 as part of a wind down process, they hold no assets and transact no business. During the time I held the position of Deputy Mayor of Mackay Regional Council, these interests were fully disclosed on my register of interest.
Having rented for the past seven years since moving out of home, I consider myself a good tenant. My rent is always paid on time (bank glitches aside), I keep my apartment in good order and I m not really the type to nag or complain at the drop of the hat. That s why I was shocked to receive an email from my real estate a month ago informing that my rent was to be increased by $95 per week, which would have to be split between myself and my housemate. With no explanation and as little as two months prior warning - I was taken aback.

Subscriber only Young people in the Mackay region will soon have an opportunity to help inform local and state policies and have a say on issues affecting them. Mackay MP Julieanne Gilbert MP has set up a new Youth Advisory Committee and is inviting young people aged 16 to 25 years to apply to be involved. Mrs Gilbert said the committee would help grow the confidence, skills and leadership abilities of members and improve their knowledge of government and policymaking processes. This is an exciting opportunity for young people to contribute to local and state policymaking on issues important to them, and learn more about how government can help effect change, she said.
Mackay Mayor Greg Williamson confirmed on Tuesday the city’s dawn services and march would resume and there would be no ticketing systems or caps on attendance.
“I think the premier and the chief health officer have listened to Queenslanders and listened to the feedback they’ve been getting from communities like ours,” Cr Williamson said.
“Right now, we’re in full planning for a normal Anzac Day commemoration.”
This planning was carried out under the chief health officer’s directives at the time, but this has since changed given the premier’s announcement.
Cr Williamson said he was pleased to see the State Government had taken on board communities’ opinions on the important day.
