The pipeline is planned and constructed by China United Coalbed Methane Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CNOOC. The pipeline starts from Shenmu City, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province in the west, and ends in Anping County, Hengshui City, Hebei Province in the east, spanning 7 cities and 17 counties in the 3 provinces of Shaanxi, Shanxi and Hebei, with a total length of about 623 kilometers.
