sort of same thing playing out, where republicans are echoing comments from the fringe group qanon supporters, believers, the central part of their conspiracy theory is elite reigning of child sex traffickers. that kind of messaging plays very closely to plays well with that base. whether or not you mentioned the maintenance of qanon, it s gonna be picked up in that community. that community has been pride for years on messages like that. it doesn t take very much for that community to pick up on those signals. we can t get in the heads of republicans who are pushing that, but we do know that 60% of trump republicans have heard of qanon, and five out of ten believing qanon according to a poll last year. those are huge numbers, that s a big constituency. and as the elections near and people have openings, it s possible that there are some relationship going on there,
