The private sector lender reported a healthy performance in Q4, with 17% year-on-year (YoY) growth in profit amid contained opex and provisions. The pace of NIM contraction decelerated, down 3 bps quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) at 4.4%.
Fashion and lifestyle player Trent on Monday reported a multifold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 712 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024. The profit stood at Rs 45 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
IndusInd Bank shares fell 2 percent in intra-day deals today, April 26, after some brokerages cut EPS (earnings per share) estimates for the private sector lender despite it posting a 15 percent jump in its March quarter (Q4FY24) net profit.
L&T Tech reported a modest 0.2 percent YoY increase in net profit, reaching ₹340 crore, due to slower revenue growth and a reduction in margins. Its revenue grew 5 percent YoY to ₹2,537.5 crore.
Net profit for the forth quarter is likely to rise to 22% year-on-year (YoY), while net interest income (NII) for the same period is seen growing up to 30% year-on-year.
