The Moon Jae-in administration marks the fourth anniversary of its inauguration on Sunday. Looking back on its achievements, the administration said, “The Moon Jae-in administration showed remarkable response for three major crises – the North Korean nuclear crisis, the Korean-Japan trade crisis, and the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.”

The pair proposed to each other while Rippon was staying with Kajaala in his native Finland this winter.
“JP and I didn’t get to see each other for almost all of 2020 because of the pandemic,” Rippon wrote on Instagram. “When there was finally a chance for me to go and see him in Finland, I jumped at it.
Rippon won the U.S. men s figure skating title in 2016 and helped lead the U.S. to the team bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyongchang, South Korea.
Since his retirement from competitive skating, Rippon, 31, competed and won season 26 of Dancing With the Stars. He s currently working with NBC to develop a figure skating-centered comedy series.

President Moon Jae-in tapped former national security adviser Chung Eui-yong as his new foreign minister Wednesday, replacing Kang Kyung-wha. The nomination is taken to mean Moon s unswerving determination to revive the peace process on the Korean Peninsula, which has remained stalled since the collapse of a second North Korea-U.S. summit in Hanoi in February 2019.
Chung is expected to put his top priority on reviving the dialogue between Pyongyang and Washington in close consultation with President Joe Biden s administration, given his abundant experience in leading the process from the start of the Moon administration.
