This technology helps them work from home, access classes, and provides experience that some jobs may require. Since 1960, Agape, whose goal is to pull families out of poverty, has grown from a small, two-person group to having almost 100 staffers and 2,000 volunteers. Working in Frayser, Whitehaven and Hickory Hill, Agape uses a two-generation approach with its families; believing that helping both the parents and children in a family is the most effective way to break the cycle of poverty.
