Prince George packs over 1,600 shoeboxes for children across the globe

The annual Operation Christmas Child Shoebox campaign hosted by Samaritan’s Purse International Relief has come to an end.
Communities across BC packed 46,066 shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and other items with Prince George contributing 1,634 of them.
The charity has already started distributing the boxes, and children in Central America and western Africa will be receiving the 373,188 shoeboxes packed from across Canada within the next few weeks.
Tens of thousands of additional boxes were sent using the online tool, Packabox.ca.
