The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor (NPHHH) located in New Windsor, NY is a New York State owned and operated facility.
It offers visitors an incredible journey through military history as well as reminders of human sacrifices and the cost of freedom. The facility is not directly affiliated with nor governed by the federal government, military nor any other organization. Â
The mission of the NPHHH is to build the nationâs first comprehensive Roll of Honor database of Purple Heart Recipients in all branches of service and for all conflicts, for which the award was available, as well as to preserve and share the award recipientsâ stories. At present, there is no comprehensive list of recipients. An individualâs awards and decorations are found in their personal military record. The Medal of Honor is the only award for which the Government does maintain a list of recipients.
