This is scott and karen right now, something new youll be seeing dot snowplow with flashing blue and white lights. Most of the plows on the is something new theyre trying out. The dot says, every year in iowa, they have 43 accidents, involving cars running into snowplows. Usually, blue and white lights are reserved for emergency vehicles, so they asked the legislature to change the rules, to make these plows easier to see. Theyre testing the idea out this year, using one plow with these new lights here in cedar rapids, and one in iowa city. I think its a 3yearpilot program, and there are many more plows in
