Gia (PunkGia Wang) a native Beijinger，a musician and graffiti artist. She is the mastermind behind China’s first female punk rock band Hang On The Box and post-rock band Girl Kill Girls as well. She has released 7 records and 2 solo albums so far. Gia made it on the cover of 《Newsweek》 in year 1999. She was also listed as one of the Top 40 Culturally Influential City Heroes by 《Timeout Beijing》 alone with other names such as Cui Jian, Chris Lee, Zhang Ziyi and Chen Kaige.
