LAHORE: The Punjab cabinet on Monday approved the procedure for allotment of flats in Lahore Development Authority (LDA) City Naya Pakistan Apartments under Section 19 of The Management and Transfer of Properties by Development Authorities Act 2014.
The 41stcabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar authorised the LDA to enter into an agreement with the Bank of Punjab for the project, as 4,000 apartments would be constructed in the first phase. One flat would cost around Rs2.7 million. A 50 per cent quota will be reserved for the public, 20pc for provincial government employees, 10pc for federal government employees and another 20pc will be allocated to LDA officials. The chief minister also directed to reserve a special quota for journalists and lawyers.

Kaagaz (paper) governs our lives.
Says Satish fondly, “We wanted him in our film even if it was just his voice. His fans would love our film much more. We got Salman to do a voiceover in the beginning and at the end. He brackets the drama very nicely.”
This is the first time Salman has lent his voice to any film.

LAHORE:Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has congratulated the nation on New Year and hoped Pakistan of 2021 will be more prosperous, developed and strong.
In his message on the New Year eve here Thursday, the chief minister reiterated the strong commitment that 2021 would be the year of fulfilling promises made with the people. Regrettably, the opposition tried to impede the wheel of development in 2020 but the people have totally rejected the negative politics of the PDM and it is better that the PDM should think for the country in 2021 by setting aside the politics of chaos and anarchy, the chief minister said.
