July 29, 2021 LAHORE: The first phase of Allama Iqbal Industrial City has been completed in Punjab under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) at a cost of Rs7.5 billion, a statement said on Wednesday. Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC) Chairman Mian Kashif Ashfaq said Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed satisfaction over the pace of development of this project. The PM has also directed Federal Minister Mian Hammad Azhar, advisor to PM on Commerce Razak Dawood, and Punjab Industries Minister Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal to ensure provision of basic infrastructure, including gas, electricity, roads, civic centre etc as a top priority before the project’s execution.

All possible facilities being provided to industrialists: Aslam July 02, 2021 Punjab Industries and Commerce Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal says industrialists are turning to Punjab due to the provincial government s investor-friendly policies.  He wa stalking to a delegation of All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association which called on him in Lahore. During the meeting, the Minister said that Punjab has a very conducive environment for investment and all possible facilities are being provided to industrialists to establish their business. He said all possible assistance will be provided to relocate All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association to shift its industrial units at Quaid-e-Azam Business Park.
