State-owned company SJVN Ltd has entered into an agreement with Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) to construct an 18 MW solar power project in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. The project, which will reduce carbon emissions by 44,923 tonnes annually, is expected to be commissioned by August 2024.
