Bhagwant Mann, who took oath as Punjab Chief Minister today, promised to turnaround the state like Delhi. Mann also thanked Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal.
Mr Mann, AAP's lone MP, contested the state polls from Dhuri, an assembly segment in his Sangrur parliamentary constituency, winning by a margin of over 58,000 against Dalvir Singh Goldy from Congress.
The Aam Aadmi Party, in its second attempt, swept the assembly polls in Punjab, winning 92 seats of the 117 Assembly seats. The poll outcome saw many prominent politicians, including outgoing Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Akali Dal leader
