According to an update by PMC Mayor Murlidhar Mohol, the death toll climbed to 4,969 with seven new fatalities. A total of 677 patients were discharged during the day, taking the total number of discharged/ recovered patients to 2,03,016. As of now, there are 13,225 active COVID-19 cases. Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in Pune district increased by 3,574 in the last 24 hours to reach 4,43,822, an official said on Tuesday.
