According to officials, four people, including two minors, died in the accident, which took place near the Swaminarayan temple and Navle bridge on the Pune-Bangalore highway at around 09.30 pm
Three-year-old twin sisters were killed and their parents were injured when a petrol tanker crashed into their two-wheeler at Pune's Vishrantiwadi Chowk Monday evening, police said.
After receiving information about the mishap, teams of Pune city police and Pune Fire Brigade rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. Prima-facie, as per police, it appeared that a container collided with a truck with the latter catching fire due to the impact.
