Electronic medical record (EMR) vendor Allscripts has worked with the Australian Digital Health Agency to embed a native viewer of the My Health Record in its Sunrise EMR used in a number of South Australian public hospitals. SA Health previously rolled out a viewer for discharge summaries, pathology reports and diagnostic imaging reports and has been linked to the national system since 2013 using the locally developed Healthcare Identifiers and PCEHR Services (HIPS) technology.
