The City of Pullman announced Friday that City Councilwoman Patricia Wright has been awarded the Advanced Certificate of Municipal Leadership from the Association of Washington Cities.
Wright has been on council since Feb. of 2008. She’s involved in the community as well. Wright serves as President of the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation and on the Chamber Board of Directors. She has also been a member of the Boards of the Pullman Education Foundation, Pullman Regional Hospital Auxiliary, and United Way of Pullman.
To earn the Advanced Certificate of Municipal Leadership, Wright completed more than 60 hours of training credits and demonstrated community service. She joins Mayor Glenn Johnson and Council Members Nathan Weller and Brandon Chapman to hold the advanced certificate.
