The METER Group has awarded the Disability Action Center NW a $9,028.12 grant to build a fully accessible garden in Pullman Community Gardens at Koppel Farm.
The building is being designed by the farm, City of Pullman, and students at the WSU School of Design and Construction.
This grant is the second received to fund the garden. Monies from this grant will help pay for a paved plot with raised beds, storage, and ergonomic accessible tools.
The Innovia Foundation also provided funds for this project.
