While some couples have struggled amid the pandemic and social distancing, others have strengthened their love, comfort and support.
Maria C. Pulido and her husband Manuel Pulido III have been married for 32 years.
According to the Pulidos, the pandemic is nothing new when it comes to health scares as the couple has been alone since their children grew up and moved to different parts of the country. Manuel helped Maria fully recover from a stroke she had four years ago. Even though it meant the couple would have to remain together for a long time alone and at home, they persevered and Maria fully recovered.
