SANDAKAN: The implementation of the Sabah Eastern Zone Pan Borneo Highway, which involves the Kinabatangan to Telupid route, has the potential to develop the tourism sector in the east coast of the state, said residents here.

LAHAD DATU: MyFundAction Sabah on Monday distributed the Kotak Rezeki Ummat aid to asnaf (eligible tithe recipients) in Pulau Sakar and Kampung Bumiputera, near here.
Humanitarian Trio Mission programme director Razlan A Ramsah, in a statement, said a total of 100 boxes containing basic necessities such as rice, cooking oil, flour, sugar, salt, soy sauce and eggs were distributed to the asnaf in the two villages.
“A total of 45 volunteers aged 17 to 25 who called themselves Youth of Strength and Happiness or YOSH from Tawau, Sandakan and Lahad Datu participated in this mission and they were divided into two groups,” he said.
