Regular hours resume at historic courthouse

The Courier Mount Pulaski, Il. - Mount Pulaski Courthouse will return to their regular hours of Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.  The Mount Pulaski Courthouse is actively seeking volunteers to be docents once or twice a month from noon to 4 p.m. For those who are interested in learning and telling the story of Abraham Lincoln, along with local and state history, are asked to  contact Renee Martin at mpch1847@gmail.com or call 217.792.3919. Recommended ages: High School and above. When visiting the site, social distancing requirements are highly recommended. For those who are exhibiting any symptoms are being asked to please do not enter. Face masks and staying socially distanced from others are required.
