Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 14) Tropical Depression Crising weakened into a low pressure area at 8 a.m. on Friday, the state weather bureau said.
In its 11 a.m. bulletin, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration noted that Crising will continue to move westward or northwestward and emerge over the Sulu Sea in the next six to 12 hours.
As of 10:00 a.m., the center of the low pressure area was in the vicinity of Piagapo, Lanao del Sur, PAGASA added.
