Provincewide, there have been 479 COVID-19 cases involving variants of concern detected so far and 154 of them are considered active. Overall, 135 new positive tests for COVID-19 were reported in Manitoba on Tuesday, 89 of them in Winnipeg and 34 in the north. There were five new cases each in the Prairie Mountain and southern health regions and two in the Interlake-Eastern health region. The five-day test positivity rate April 13 was six per cent.
