BLM seeks teacher for summer Teacher on Public Lands internship
PHOENIX – The Bureau of Land Management Arizona State Office is seeking a valley teacher (K-12) for the Teacher on the Public Lands, Hands on the Land summer internship program. The teacher intern will be working remotely at home and periodically at the Pueblo Grande Museum during their summer internship.
The internship will last for eight weeks between June and August 2021 for a total of 160 hours at the discretion of the teacher schedule. The teacher will receive a $2,200 professional development stipend, paid tuition for a three credit hour graduate course at the University of Colorado–Denver, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience promoting hands-on learning through some of the United States’ most treasured cultural and natural resources.
