TEMPLE, TX â The Temple Police Department is asking for the public s help in identifying a vehicle linked to the theft of a catalytic converter.
The incident happened on March 11, 2021, near the 8200 block of South General Bruce Drive.
The department has had 26 cases of catalytic converter thefts since the beginning of the year, with some reports involving multiple vehicles targeted at one location.
TPD says the majority of the recent thefts involved catalytic converters from commercial or larger pickup trucks. However, suspects have targeted passenger vehicles as well.

KILLEEN, TX â Bell County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public s help in solving a Killeen teen s murder.
On Monday, February 11, 2020, around 9:28 p.m., officers with the Killeen Police Department were dispatched to the 1000 block of Cedar Drive for a potential medical call.
A caller told dispatch there was a person not moving near the front porch of a home.
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later identified as 19-year-old Teckla Domesca of Killeen.
