Now, three decades later, the decisions of the Goss government’s first full year in power can be revealed, with the public release of secret cabinet minutes from 1990. After a landslide victory in November 1989, Mr Goss’s Labor regime oversaw numerous reforms from the Fitzgerald inquiry into police corruption. Labor premier Wayne Goss investigated daylight saving and instigated several Fitzgerald inquiry reforms.
