Body Found By Grand Haven Pier Lake Michigan is a beautiful site but sometimes she can be very unforgiving. According to WOOD, a man went missing around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday after falling into Lake Michigan off of a Grand Haven pier. Rescue crews have found the missing man after a couple of fisherman say they heard a splash and saw the man in the water floating out into Lake Michigan. Grand Haven Department of Public Safety Lieutenant Lee Adams said the fisherman tried to reach the man but were unable to get him. The United States Coast Guard was called in for the search. The Coast Guard sent out a helicopter to begin helping with the search. An Ottawa County Sheriff Office Dive Team was also called in to help in locating the man.
