MVRDA 911 plans power outage Sunday From Staff Reports, Las Cruces Sun-News LAS CRUCES - The Mesilla Valley Regional Dispatch Authority will undergo a planned power outage on Sunday, Jan. 10. The power outage is required in order to connect newly installed solar panels to the power grid. The solar panel installation is being coordinated by the Doña Ana County Facilities Department. The power outage will begin at 8 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 10 and will last approximately two hours. During this time, all 911 telephone lines will be transferred to the New Mexico State Police District-4 Communications Center in Las Cruces. The non-emergency telephone number, 575-526-0795 and the administrative offices telephone numbers 575-646-6800 through 575-647-6855 will not be in service during the power outage.
