Las Cruces City Council to discuss creating two more dog parks

LAS CRUCES - The Las Cruces City Council will meet via video conference at 1 p.m. Monday, April 19, for a regularly scheduled meeting.
The council will consider adoption of a resolution approving a contract to Jaynes Corp., of Las Cruces, to construct the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley s new adoption center, as well as dog parks at the ASCMV building, 3551 Bataan Memorial West, and at Burn Lake Park, 855 Amador Ave.
Construction of the new adoption center and two dog parks would cost no more than $9.173 million and would be completed in about a year.
