that s concerning because we ll show you where some of those rooms are in mar-a-lago. you can see in red is trump s suite. and you can also see just down the hall from the outdoor dining area and the members only club where members and their guests go through all the time. now the former president is responding, calling it a total public relations subterfuge by the fbi and doj. as for the current president, joe biden today mocked trump s claim that he declassified all the documents the fbi found during the search of his home. listen to this. he declassified all the documents. he had just declassified them all. i want to know if he classified everything in the world. i m president. i can do it. come on! well, they mentioned national defense information, so we don t know what that is. a total public relations subterfuge by the fbi or close working relationship regarding document turnover. we gave them much, et cetera. and it talks about hatred and animosity. the unredacted portions and certainly what we can infer from the run-up to the redacted portions, there was plenty of opportunity, it was more than a year since he left office, and lots of attempts to get real cooperation, and also specific language saying that if this were released in a fully unredacted form, it would compromise or intimate witnesses, multiple witnesses. so it tells you that this investigation has a lot of witnesses and a lot of people, and that there is evidence that they say is in the redacted portions that there s also been

on his social media platform, truth social, trump referenced with all of the redactions in this affidavit. and he said, it s a total public relations subterfuge by the fbi and the department of justice. and he said, quote, we gave them much. now, in an interview he posted earlier this week on truth social, trump claimed he did nothing wrong, wolf. brian todd reporting for us. thank you very much. let s get back to our analyst, katelyn polantz. the affidavit does consider a letter from trump s lawyer to consider the claims that the president has absolute authority to declassify documents. but so far, they ve provided no proof that that he actually took steps to do any of that, right? that s right, wolf. and really, wolf, there s classified documents, there s declassified documents. the difference here, it doesn t really matter. because what s under investigation is the handling of national defense information.
