AS the vaccine roll-out continues, Kirklees Council and the NHS are setting up a Covid-19 vaccination centre at Batley s Fox’s Biscuits factory tomorrow. This will give all members of staff the opportunity to receive the first or second dose of the vaccine. It has been shown that those who work in shift patterns find it more difficult to book a vaccine appointment, and this pop-up vaccination centre is the start of Kirklees Council’s and the NHS’ targeted approach with local businesses to help make the vaccination roll-out as easily accessible as possible for those in this category. A spokesperson for the Council said: The vaccine rollout continues to be a big success in Kirklees. So far, more than 233,000 people have had their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and 156,000 of those have had their second.
