I would like to thank my school for giving me this opportunity, my parents for supporting me and coming to this event. When i was in fourth grade, i got to go to the white house garden and cook with first Lady Michelle obama. I was lucky to harvest Sweet Potatoes with miss obama, and i got the chance to harvest tomatoes and carrots that were included in our lunch followed the harvest. I enjoyed that experience. Now i spend more time in the kitchen cooking homemade recipes. I do it with a twist. I started doing healthy recipes like making my own salad. Michelle obama also inspired me to someday grow my own garden and use those plants to make my own recipes.
