Ohio University announced last Tuesday a hire to an executive position to manage student enrollment, which has steadily declined in recent years and is said to be a primary source of financial turbulence at the institution. Candace J. Boeninger was promoted into the new title, vice president for management enrollment, where she will directly report to OU President Duane Nellis and Executive Vice President and Provost Elizabeth Sayrs on matters of university enrollment, according to a news release. Boeninger, who served as Associate Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management and Director of Undergraduate Admissions since 2017, was selected for the position following a national search involving input from a 19-member search committee of faculty, staff and students.

Due to COVID-19, OHIO was unable to host a live event. Instead, OHIO has honored the dedication and work of our faculty through a digital Top 10 countdown on OHIO’s social media channels.
