KZN police say more arrests are expected in a double kidnapping and murder case they re investigating in KwaDabeka.

In October last year, police published details of their horrific injuries, saying the 36-year-old mother and teenager were found dumped near the Umgeni River.
The police s Thembeka Mbele says 41-year-old Sthembiso Lamula s facing two murder and kidnapping charges.

The South African Police Service in Limpopo has intensified operation “Vhuthu Hawe” and the Tactical Intelligence-led Joint operations which were conducted until Sunday, 11 April 2021, that resulted in one thousand two hundred and three (1203) suspects arrested for different criminal offenses.
The suspects aged between 20 and 57 were apprehended for offenses such as murder, attempted murder, robberies, assault, common robbery, armed robbery, sexual offenses including rapes, burglary businesses, burglary residential, stock theft, theft of the motor vehicle, drug-related crimes, driving under the influence of liquor, possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition, Immigration Act, public drinking, Contravention of the Road Traffic Act and illegal dealing in liquor.

Eastern Cape police have asked for the public s help in locating two prisoners that escaped from Bisho High court and Ngqeleni Magistrate s court.
It s alleged that one of the men who was awaiting trial was taken from cells to the back of the van when he ran away.
An additional charge of attempting to escape from lawful custody and escape from lawful custody will be added to the two suspects respectively.
